JUNCTION Sejahtera is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Captain to join our team in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our maritime operations and help maintain our high standards of safety and efficiency.

As a Deputy Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessels, supporting the Captain in decision-making, and maintaining a safe working environment for all crew members.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Tanggung Jawab:

  • Assist the Captain in navigating the vessel and ensuring safe passage.
  • Monitor vessel systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee cargo operations and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations.
  • Coordinate with shore-based teams to ensure timely delivery of cargo and compliance with operational schedules.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vessel operations and safety incidents.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental protection regulations and practices.

    • 🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

    Kualifikasi:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Captain or Deputy Captain in the maritime industry.
  • Valid Master Mariner's Certificate or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English and local language (Indonesian).
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Valid Seaman's Book and STCW certificates.
  • Experience with cargo operations and handling.
